The Total Man Program for Troubled Teens - Social Component

Learning to properly interact with others is an essential aspect of teen development. Proper social interaction takes the focus away from self and teaches teens to relate to others in an understanding way. To encourage social development, we require our teens to attend weekly church meetings, teen fellowships, and youth group meetings. In addition, Christian teens from local churches are invited to scheduled Christian fellowships on premises with our students, always under close adult supervision. Because we realize that unsupervised interaction with the wrong crowd can quickly lead a teen in the wrong direction, we take the necessary precautions to be sure that all of our social activities are drug, alcohol, and smoking free. Improper language, clothing, and behavior are strictly prohibited. Our no tolerance policy gives teens an opportunity to build healthy, Christian friendships while protecting them from negative influences.
