As a Christian-owned business, we strive to do all things in a Christian manner. However, some aspects of our troubled teen program are more markedly religious than others. These include Christian education requirements, Bible studies and devotionals, church attendance, praise and worship, and Christian servanthood.

Christian Education Requirements. Accendo Academy uses the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum for all academic subjects. Before advancing in any subject, students are required to memorize verses of Scripture. In addition, our academic curriculum includes required courses in the New Testament and the Life of Christ.

Bible Studies and Devotionals. Our students begin their day with a pastor-led Scriptural devotional. Through our Christian Leadership Training Program, students participate in daily Bible studies that are conducted by other students under the mentorship of our pastor. Guest speakers are invited on premises to share their testimonies with teens with the goal of helping them understand God's work in people's lives. Students are also given regularly scheduled quiet time for prayer and reflection.

Christian Servanthood. While other aspects of our Spiritual Program are mandatory, our Christian Servanthood program gives students the opportunity to volunteer their time to serve others. If they choose to participate, teens are able to exemplify Christian service in the community by assisting others with yard work, moving, or other home maintenance. Students may also choose to volunteer to work in the concession booth at various church-sponsored events.

Church Attendance. In addition to on-premises fellowships, students are required to attend Sunday morning and midweek services at local churches in the community.  They are also required to attend weekly youth meetings.  At these meetings, they are able to interact with other Christian teens in a well-monitored, supervised environment.
